I have 2 sites where one is using ALPHA with OSF, the other using ALPHA with VMS. The main problem with the OSF implementation is a lack of practical experience using OSF. The Midwest we were told by DEC that there was 1 OSF expert for MN, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, SD, and ND. The VMS systems are getting and running without too much problem.
