Upsizing from MS Access

We have a VB/MS Access 2.0 application which is getting too big for comfort. We have Oracle servers & expertise running other applications.
Can you give us any advice on what it would take to replace Access with Oracle while minimizing change to the application?
Could each access table be attached to the equivilent table on Oracle? What are the limitations with Access attached tables. What are the Oracle Access incompatibilities?
Any Suggestions...
