It depends on several factors. Is oracle for your platform available from any other sources. How many seats are you going to buy. ie. how many usrs. The real bottom line has to do with the amount of mony you are going to spend. If this is for a large amount of money than you are better off negoiating with Oracle directly. You will be able to get a better price and service options.

One hint. If you go direct tell them you are bidding sybase as well. You will get a better price.
