I'm also looking for the above, but we also need:
- Data modeling tool supports supertypes/subtypes, as does data dictionary
- Data modeling tool supports development of multiple user views, with automatic generation of a global schema
- Data dictionary supports multiple decomposition of DD entries (e.g., person = name + ssn; name = last name + first name + middle intitial)
- Supports concurrent network users
- Diagrams can be exported to standard graphic files
I'm trying to do an evaluation of about 7 different CASE tools to see how they rate in these and other areas before we select one...
I haven't seen any CASE newsgroups... anybody know of one?
