Need info on Oracle

My company needs an efficient database to run on our Unix system. We would like some information on Oracle so that we can make an educated decision. We would like to know the email address of Oracle so we could contact them directly for information. Also, we would appreciate any information pertaining to ftp sites for OracleShareware.
