I would appreciate any information about using dbms_pipe to communicate and transmit limited data from a Oracle database to a non database environemnt and vice_versa. Is dbms_pipe a recommended tool ? Are there any alternatives to enforcing Client-Server environement between Oracle server and OS2 Client WITHOUT any dbms client software Are there ant recomended books on usage of dbms_pipe ?
