Oracle has a shadow process running in parallel with the user process. Is there a way within Oracle to find out how much memory this shadow process is using? Or any way to decrease its usage?
I run the unix monitor analysis program which shows each of these shadow process takes about 3M, though this might not be correct because the report always gives us much higher value.
thanks/david
