If we really want this group to be useful, I recommend *NOT* splitting it. So many problems cross areas -- is it a DBMS, gateway, Applications, third-party off-the-shelf-software, CASE, tools, end-user, networking, operating system, configuration, ... or bizarre problem? People will have to cross-post every message to be sure of the right answer. If even 1/2 of the articles are of no use to you, well, that's what the 'n' key is for (depending on your news reader ;-).
