Well, I got a product called SQL Studio from Stanford Technology. I got it because it puts a nice GUI editor around the development of pl/sql blocks and stored procedures. I have found that it is also great for doing ad hoc sql queries. You can open a lot of "sql windows" and each has its own edit window and result table. Just got a flyer for version 2.0 and it looks even better.... Worth a look.....
