I have just spent about a week on various printing problems from financials (9.4.2) on a HP-UX (unix) system to a HP Laser Jet 4si. If you have not had any success - call me at (803) 594-7203. There are about 3-4 places to look.
Finanacials uses sql*reports, sql*plus, and rpt + C programs, etc. to print. Each is set up in a different place. I also have printer definitions (interface files for lp) and unix shell scripts that I can share for printing on HP Laser Jets.
What model laser jets are you using ? The print codes will be different.
Also check in your AOL / financials profiles what printers are defined at the "system", "application", "user" and "role(?)" levels. For some of these the default is a DEC LN03 and it gives wrong junk.
INSGHT comes from FSG's I believe and SARPLS may be sales analysis.
Your installation and SYSADMIN (financials) manuals will help some. If you call Oracle be sure to ask for the AOL group otherwise you will get shifted around to different groups first. I know it took 2 tars and about 2 hours on the phone to solve one of the problems.
Good Luck.
