In the true spirit of the information superhighway and what it someday might mean to us all in trying to cope with technology that threatens to strangle us with its complexity, I ran across Mike's note via a Usenet newsreader I work with on another service provider.

I started to suspect we were at nearby physical sites. Well, he's on the first floor of my building.
The telephone number was a big hint.

Anyhow, we've gotten together, and it looks like we were able to work out a few of the more annoying glitches he was having in his install, and he now has a running Oracle7 Server database. I reported the problem he has experienced in getting support on this issue to the folks I deal with at Oracle Corporation here in New Jersey and in California.
