Seems as if you're really on a 4.1.2 system. Is this a supported combo ? I have SunOS 4.1.3 and there is revision code of libc indeed 2.8 /usr/5lib/libc.so.2.8

The other problem with the missing group 'dba' (user ORACLE belongs to) was mentioned before.
