The Information Systems department has an immediate opening in the Technology Application Group in our Parsippany, NJ location.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of relational DBMS (preferably Oracle) and heavy development experience in a commercial IS environment.
Expertise in at least one, and familiarity with at least one of the following: 3GL (C, COBOL, etc.), 4GL (Oracle Forms, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, etc.)
Expertise in at least one, and familiarity with at least one of the following: UNIX, Novell Netware, MS-DOS and MS-Windows.
Working experience with CASE methods and tools, IBM MVS development, design and implementation in a distributed or client/server environment, system administration for UNIX and/or Netware, or new technologies including groupware or mobile computing are a big plus.
