Is the SQL net software installled on the server side or both server side and client side ?
If it is also installed on the client side, what is the relation between client software and SQL net ?
What is the relation between the network protocol ( say TCP/IP ) , the SQL net and the client software ?
What does the client software actually do ?
What does the SQL net actually do ?
What is included in the client software ? ( network lib ? and database lib ? )
