I was running into a small question (problem? concern?) that I was wondering if the masses could help me with. We are running Oracle V6 on a DEC/Ultrix box and I was trying to figure out how to do something with SQL*Menu.
Quite simply, is there any way to perform administrative duties (such as adding or revoking a user's SQL*Menu permissions) from a script? Is there, perhaps, some way to do this within SQL*DBA logged on as the DBA? So far the only way that I have found to do this is to individually enter them through the "Admin/Grant Access" option of SQL*Menu. This is a real pain after a database rebuild when you have to input 200 users by hand.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Also, (if it's not too much to ask) could you E-Mail me directly? Sometimes I have trouble getting onto the Newgroups.
Thanks a million!
Byron
