The Univ of Mich has a site license for Oracle. There are many users of both V6 and V7. Each department works independently so I don't know all of the applications here. We at the School of Dentistry are using V6 for patient record tracking and may be expanding to keeping track of dental instruments, student grades, etc.

There are university-wide Oracle systems: one that I know of is a financial information system. The medical school also uses Oracle widely.

If any further questions please write directly.
