I was wondering if anyone was using 7.0.15.4.0 on SCO version 3.2, version 4.0 I realize that it is only certified for 3.2v4.2 and we are planning to upgrade. I am looking for a intermediate solution if there is one. I am trying to use the COBOL pre-compiler 1.5.9 with Micro Focus COBOL 3.1. The program compiles and links without errors, but as soon as the program tries to connect to the database, I get the following:

Execution error : file 'test_drop'
error code: 114, pc=0, call=1, seg=0
114 Attempt to access item beyond bounds of memory (Signal 11)

Oracle is suggesting that the problem is indeed a result of the older operating system (though they are not able to positively identify the problem). If anyone else is experiencing this problem and knows why it is happening or a work around, please let me know. Thank you for your time.
