Any good Reverse Engineering books out there?

Noting that Oracle has a mature Case methodology and commercial case tools available, does anyone recommend any alternatives to this? Our agency is about to embark on a project to build an Oracle Data Dictionary / Data Model of all our existing Oracle computer systems. We just want to concentrate on data - no source code (SQL, Forms, Cobol, Rexx etc..) for now. The idea is to enable us to improve the structure of both our existing database tables and programs, since like many large shops, much time is spent on program maintainance. Some preliminary ideas I had was to program some software tools to scan SQL scripts, store Father/Son relationships between "entities", owner of data elements, who uses a particular data element and so on..... Obviously, each programmer at Peace Corps has an opinion on what criteria is important to store in an on-line Data Dictionary / Data Model. We are interested in seeing what experts in Reverse Engineering have written about this topic. If anyone has any opinions or recommendations of books to read on Reverse Engineering, Data Dictionary Design etc..., I would appreciate it, very much. I currently have been examining the 1993 and 1992 Oracle IOUW conference Proceedings Notes and have picked up many ideas from these. Has anyone worked on a project such as this, recently?
