Q: Did you jump the gun on TUSC/MOUG?
- Yes. Rich Niemic's article for IOUG is original and is based on his personal experiences, and was first presented in June at a local users group meeting. I have provided several articles for public use via Usenet, and will always be rankled if it appears that someone else has placed his or her name on top of them; that was not the case in this instance, and I offer a sincere apology to R. Niemic, TUSC, and any others who may have been adversely affected by my ranting and raving. Future attempts to get answers about information sources will not take up public bandwidth. And if I were not presenting at the same time I'd attend his talk, as it sounds as if he has information to add to the general knowledge pool on backups and recoveries, for which we should all be grateful.
