We experienced several problems with Oracle 7.0.13 on SPARCcenter2000 running Solaris 2.2.

[1] According to the log file for at jobs, I've tracked an Oracle
ReportWriter job started at Sat Nov 13 01:27:30, column index analysis started 06:00:00 & ended 06:00:20 subsequently, followed by database analysis started 07:00:00 & ended 07:06:28, followed by another analysis started 07:30:00 & ended 07:39:44, and finally that initial Oracle job ended at 07:42:11. Subsequent similar Oracle jobs seemed to run for much lesser duration. The question is why is this so???

[2] We are also experiencing intermittent core dumps, which may not be
reproduceable. There are internal error messages by PL/SQL & SQL Plus 3.1.2.2.1 as well as SQLforms3.0.16.12.5. Anybody on the net experienced the same or anybody has any idea what's happening & how to solve such problems?

Please mail me direct at lionell_at_solomon.technet.sg. Thanks. Received on Tue Nov 30 1993 - 05:49:38 CET
