Hi DBA's:

I have a question on running the export NLM from Netware file server console. We found that the NLM works a great deal faster than using exp.exe from a client workstation. Since we have to export very large tables (400M) we try to use the NLM as far as possible. The question relates to the fact that sometimes the tables are so large that there is not enough disk space on the server volumes. In that case we would like to be able to export the data to another server (attached to the same network). But, we haven't figured out the method of specifying the destination drive on another file server from the console.
It is trivial if we do it from a client station, since one can login on othe database server and attach to another server and specify destination drive on the other server by mapping the appropriate volume. But, it is not possible to map drives from the server console and therefore the NLM doesn't work. If any Netware/Oracle user can suggest a way of doing it, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for your time.
