Several people have sent me the following:

Please beware that a virus has been detected on the Oracle Office Demo
diskette (Part Number A13318) that was distributed at IOUW a few weeks ago.
The virus is called "Cruncher" and it messes up random files on a hard drive. IOUW attendees probably brought back a few copies of the diskettes and you may have used them.
Thanks to Mike Sharun of the Calgary office who learned about this first and let us all know.
There IS a way to clean the diskette, and as soon as I have the details, I'll pass them on. In the meantime, don't use the diskette, and I HOPE we don't have too many messed up hard drives ...

Let us hope Dorothy Loeffen is right and not too many messed up hard drives!
