Sorry, since I am using a Mac server I haven't upgraded to Oracle7 (for the reasons above) or the new client tools. All I know is what the Oracle marketing guy told me. He said that the C and Hypercard API's are not changing much and that clients developed with the version 6 API's will work against a v7 server. I haven't tested this. The really new stuff is a new client application - an enhanced Query Builder which looked nice and also Bookmaker (?) or something of the sort which lets you build electronic books. Not as flexible as HyperCard but otherwise looked OK.
