You might also look at the high-end DG AvIIon's. I've had excellent performance on a midrange machine with a near-3GB database (midrange = 4 processor SMP box with 256MB memory and 4.5 GB disk). They have an excellent price-performance ratio. I would only use them in the US for now; I don't know what their international support network has been reduced to as they reinvent themselves...
