The current plan is to port O7 to the 32-bit "Chicago" version of MSDOS.

Unfortunately, OS/2 hasn't caught on as well as I hoped it would, but it is certainly not a "dying OS". Oracle has consistently put considerable effort behind OS/2 and as far as I can tell, it intends to do so for the forseeable future.

I'm not in any position to know whether this is true or not. However, I've never seen the big O lower its prices due to competitive pressure, and I'd be surprised to see it do so now, when sales are at an all time high.
