 I think the two products (Oracle 7 and Netware 3.xx/4.0) will also be bundled. Will there be a cost savings? I think at least a small one. Also, installation of the two products will be integrated. Not that the current Oracle NLM is that difficult to install now. I'm assuming you'll have options in the Netware install for setting up an Oracle volume and perhaps some additional options for spreading tablespaces out over separate disks for performance reasons. All of this can be done now, it just takes a bit of digging through two sets of manuals to do.

Another big benefit will be if Oracle can use Novell's directory service in Netware 4.0. This way, you might be able to move your Novell users around the network and have their Oracle accounts, with associated security, move around with them.
Again, this can be done now but the process can be made smoother.
