This weekend we upgraded our Oracle server machine from 2 to 4 CPUs. Since then the machine has locked up and had to be powered off and back on. There were no error messages left anywhere to indicate any kind of a problem before it happened.
Has anyone else had this happen? Could it be related to the 2 vs. 4 CPUs or wasit just a fluke?
Details:
Sun 670 - 4 CPU
256 Megabytes RAM
4 SCSI disks ( 2 internal, 2 in expansion chassis)
OS 4.1.2 with DBE 1.2
501 Megabytes swap space
Oracle RDBMS vers. 6.0.33.2.3
Thanks
