Hi!
We are looking at GQL, DataPrism, Powerbuilder, and something new called EIS-Toolkit to access Oracle on an HP-9000 from Macs and PCs. I could use some advice from anyone who is looking at these or similar tools for flexible end-user queries and custom application building.

For example, EIS-Toolkit (sits on top of Wingz and uses ClearAccess, SQL*NET) allows you to "drill down" with little to no programming: a user can click on one of the "rows" that is the result of a query and launch into a new query with the added selection criteria for the row that was clicked.

If anyone has experience with these tools, I would appreciate a call or message - let me know what you think so far.

Thx,
Thilo
