The following are the requirements for the role:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Data modeler / Data Architect using Data Modeling tools like IBM’s Information Data Architect (IDA – preferred) or ERWIN, etc.

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Data modeler / Data architect in Data-warehousing & Data mart implementations

Strong hands on experience with design of Dimensional modeling using Star / Snowflake with implementation experiences using slowly changing dimensions and understanding requirements of reporting & ETL

Strong hands on experience with design of third normal form with implementation experiences using slowly changing dimensions

Strong hands on experience with design of ODS (Operational Data sources)

Stong understanding of ETL especially Datastage

Strong hands on experience with Oracle

Strong understanding of Cognos and Business Intelligence tools

Strong understanding of Data Governance in a typical Data-warehouse

Strong analytical skills with exceptional communication

Experience in Banking and Mortgage domains is preferred
