There is too much of 'I think' in this post.

If you want 'a definate clarification if it is possible' (why do people insist in this spelling?) you will have to ask Oracle support. A newsgroup cannot give you any guarantees.

Why don't you try it instead of asking?
Try with Oracle Instant Client, it consists just of a handful of files and should be the best choice for such an experiment.
