Hi,
We have a problem in that our users need to be able to open two different applets from a single browser instance (where they have logged into a portal). One applet is part of Oracle Applications (Forms 6i) and uses JInitiator 1.3.1.9.
The second applet is custom written and needs the JDK 1.4 plugin to run.
However, it is not possible to run two applets using these two jdks from the same internet explorer process.

Two possible solutions might be:
1.
Some workaround that the Sun's 1.4.* Java Plug-in could be used with
Oracle Forms 6i. (Oracle Apps is based on forms 6i.)
http://otn.oracle.com/products/forms/htdocs/clientsod_forms6i.html
2.
Does Oracle have a JInitiator that is based on JRE 1.4 (even a beta
version)?
