We have a position available for a Programmer/Analyst who will be responsible for supporting, testing and implementing changes and problem fixes to Information Technology application systems. The Programmer/Analyst analyzes systems requirements and develops specifications for new and existing systems.

Responsibilities
- Support and maintain IT applications

• Assist in developing functional and design specifications for projects of various sizes from basic requirements.
• Analyze user requests for new software or changes to existing software and recommend action plans to change requests.
• Devises, writes and debugs programs in the appropriate computer languages to provide required data for management and resolve business, system or network problems.
• May analyze, review and rewrite programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
• Installs, tests, and implements new software packages
• Devises sample input data to test adequacy of programs
• Compiles documentation of programs and subsequent revisions
• Provides on-site and remote support of existing systems, resolves trouble tickets and runs applications in test environments

Qualifications
- Experience in AMDOCS applications

• Experience in Unix, C/C++, Oracle, Microfocus Cobol and NT
• Powerbuilder
