[Quoted] SQL*XL updates only the last data you have queried from the database to your spreadsheet. You simply change the values on the spreadsheet and use the Multiple Rows Update feature to reconcile with Oracle.

Updates in Oracle will need to be queried back into Excel. When doing a query, SQL*XL will leave the SQL for the query in a note in the first cell. This can be used to refresh the data. Simply select the cell with the SQL comment and open the Query dialog. SQL*XL will copy the SQL into the dialog.
