Greetings.

Can anyone suggest a way to trouble shoot this, or an adjustment to make.

I have some code that gets precompiled into an Oracle 7.3.4 compatible dll and also precompilred (using the 8i version) into an Oracle 8i compatible product.

So the source code is the same. Running against the exact same database, the 7.3.4 client runs very quickly.. the 8i client takes three times as long to process its database queries.

Is there some precompiler setting I should be using here? I am guessing it may have something to do with a default "bring back chunk size" or some such setting somewhere for the 8i precompiler.

Thanks
