Hi
Is there sufficient simple method to find and identify open cursors (e.g. developer forgot to close). The v$open_cursor and v$sysstat view are not very helpful in this context because they list only cached cursors or cumulated numbers respectively. After roaming metalink and other resources I found the init.ora-parameter CLOSE_OPEN_CACHED_CURSORS which was rendered obsolete in version 8.x. Are there other possibilities to "debug" a PL/SQL application from the database side.
thx
Tom
