I have a Java application that is receiving a Protocol Violation error. The error occurs on multiple machines each with their own version of the application’s EJBs and Weblogic. Multiple data updates occurred prior to experiencing the problem. However, once the error was seen on one client it immediately spread to all others. The Platform looks as follows:
Client side:
NT 4.0 service pack 5, JDK 1.1.7b Oracle thin JDBC driver 8.0.4.2 Weblogic 4.5.1 toplink v2.5 Server side: NT 4.0 service pack 4 Oracle enterprise edition 8.0.4.0.0 Listener 8.0.4.0.0.
The error is below. No corresponding oracle message was listed in the stack trace. Has anybody seen this type of problem and, if so, was able to determine the cause?
Thanks for any advice,
