However, I remember seeing sqlplus pop up an Acroread window with appropriate documentation in response to the help command. It was also on an NT and I think the Oracle version was the same - 7.3.2.

Also, in Sqlplus help pulldown menu, there's only one item - About. The rest appears to be supressed as there's this separator line just above the About item.

For the latest version of Personal Oracle, I have not been following the developments lately, is that 8i? Is this upgrade recommended for someone who's just learning SQL and basics of Oracle development?
