OAS 4.0.7 ORB not starting

ORB is not responding. Please restart manually... OWS-20214: The OAS processes can not be started, because the CORBA orb processes can not be started.

I tried to start the ORB by itself through the server manager - same message.

I tried to start the OAS services 'manually' through the services applet [Quoted] from control panel - same message.

I tried to start the ORB manually using the mncnmsrv40 program (taking a [Quoted] hint from the technet info) and got the message -

UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: yu::no_ORACLE_HOME in program abnormal program termination

Does anyone have an idea as to what might be going on?
