JDeveloper 2/JDBC - Logging in from client with no userid/password (OS authentication)?

Does anyone know how to accomplish an OS authentication login from the client using JDBC/JDeveloper 2? Its the equivalent to doing a "sqlplus /" from the client, specifying no username or password. You can't just put nulls in thefunction call, it bombs. Anyone do this?
