I am trying to migrate a user from an Oracle 7.2.3 database on AIX to an Oracle 8.0.5 on Solaris. For the data everything is ok, the problem is that they are still using an application which uses SQL*MENU (with SETENV TWO_TASK on the AIX machine).
I have exported the following table and views from the system of the 7.2.3 version:
MENU_B_APPL
MENU_B_APPL_GRP
MENU_B_CIRCLE
MENU_B_GROUP
MENU_B_GRP_PRIV
MENU_B_INFO
MENU_B_OBJ_TEXT
MENU_B_OPTION
MENU_B_PARAM
MENU_B_PARM_XREF
MENU_B_PRIV
MENU_B_PROCEDURE
MENU_B_REF
MENU_B_USER
MENU_V_APPL_GRP
MENU_V_OPTION
MENU_V_PARM_XREF
MENU_V_GROUP
MENU_V_OBJ_TEXT
MENU_V_CIRCLE
MENU_V_PROCEDURE
MENU_V_REF
MENU_V_USER
MENU_V_PRIV
MENU_V_GRP_PRIV
MENU_V_PARAM
MENU_V_INFO
MENU_V_APPL

imported in 8.0.5 and given the grants to the user.

Using the application I get the following error after giving user name and password:
MNU-10249: No authorization to run application REMMEN02.

REMMEN02 has an entry in the table MENU_B_APPL

APPLICATION_NAME: REMMEN02
SHORT_NAME: MENU
FILE_NAME: REMMEN02
CREATION_DATE: 13-JAN-93
CREATOR: dima
VERSION_RELEASE_NR: 1
LAST_RELEASE_DATE:
MENU_DIRECTORY:
IDENTIFICATION : REMMEN02 I don't know what is missing to avoid this error message and I don't have the source code of the application. Maybe anyone has an idea.

Thanks,

Hilde Gerlach
