OO4O 2.3 does not support CLOBs, it basically only supports Oracle7 stuff. There is a new version currently in beta (have a look at http://www.dejanews.com/getdoc.xp?AN=428824686) which does. Bear in mid though that is is a beta, and whilst CLOBs appear to work under VB, I'm having a _very_ tough time getting them to work under C++
