[Quoted] We have a text indexing and retrieval engine which is very fast, has low index overhead and has a wide range of query functionality.

We would like to be able to set it up as a toolkit for Oracle developers. It is written in C/C++ and is highly portable so I can port it to just about any environment.

However, I am a total newbie when it comes to Oracle. What form would the toolkit have to take in order to work with Oracle applications? What development tools would I need to put an Oracle version of the toolkit together? What would Oracle developers like to see in a text indexing and retrieval toolkit?

[Quoted] Any help / information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Art

BTW: A web page where you can find out about the retrieval engine I am talking about is located at: http://www.1source.com/~pollarda/findex/ Received on Tue Jan 12 1999 - 06:48:59 CET
