How could I add my programs to control the security protocol?

Hi,
I want to add my own function into control the security protocol. I mean when I try to connect to a Oracle remote database, I want to use my own control model instead of the standard one to login in and check the authorization. How can I implement. Where can I find the necessary document? Thanks!
