By your own copy of Oracle for NT. Play with it and learn it. Get the Oracle manuals. Read the Oracle Press books. Stick at it. Maybe pay for some training if you don't like the 'teach yourself' approach.

That's how I started 12 years ago. And I've never looked back.

You've got it easy - there are so many books and cheap versions of Oracle (and the hardware to run it) these days. :-)
