Forms 5.0.4.11.3 Beta in Windows NT:
I am trying to call window2 from window1, and then exit back to window1 by a button that uses the HIDE_WINDOW call in a button trigger. The window2 shows up, but:
- It comes up behind the original window1. I'd like it in the forefront. This is a content canvas calling a content canvas on a different window, so I don't think the Raise on Entry property does anything here.
- It won't exit using the HIDE_WINDOW call in a button trigger. I made sure my next item in the navigation properties is on the window1, but window2 still won't go away. Stepping through the debugger shows the window go away until it exits the trigger, when it once again displays window2.
- I have to click on window2 for it's current data to display (must need some kind of built-in to bring the data in when the window is called).
Have been combing my old manuals and tinkering around, with no luck. Any pointers on doing this properly greatly appreciated! I used to do this in Forms 4.5, and can't see what is missing in my properties. This is beginning to be pretty time consuming to do a simple function..Thanks for any hints or tips. --Candy

*It takes all the running you can do to keep in the same place. If you want*
*to get somewhere else you must run twice as fast as that. *
