Extended character set manipulation in Forms 5.0

I'm developing an application in Forms 5.0 which will use both the English character set and the extended character set (in this case :Greek). Does anyone knows how can I control programmatically the selected character set ? That is, disable the user from typing in entry fields using the English character set and vice versa.
