Thanks for this. Someone already sent me the fix. I should be using the Forms_DDL built-in rather than DBMS_SQL.
I'm using Dev2000 Version 2.0 which Forms 5.0 and I did try calling support and then told me to upgrade the database from 7.3.2 to 7.3.4 which at this point is not feasible at our site. I'm glad the above worked.
