Forms 4.5 - Item Width inconsistency

[Quoted] Why does a Forms 4.5 item require 7 pixels per 'Courier New 9' character on one [Quoted] computer and more pixels on another ? My application has been developed using [Quoted] Forms 4.5.6 under windows 3.11. All the items have a monospaced font 'Courier [Quoted] New 9'. A one character item requires a width of 7 pixels, 2 character item [Quoted] requires width of 14 pixels & so on. I have to implement this application on [Quoted] Forms 4.5.7 under windows 95. My problem is that under W95, 1 character item [Quoted] needs a width of 15 pixels, a 2 character item needs a width of 16 pixels, 3 [Quoted] character item needs 23 pixels & so on. Basically the formula under W95 is (No. [Quoted] of characters * 7 + 2) except for a one charater item. Why could this be occuring ? Is there any setting that needs to be changed on the W95 PC ? I [Quoted] deleted the W95 courier fonts & installed the Windows 3.11 fonts on W95. But [Quoted] this did not solve the problem.
