I'm currently using Designer/Developer 2000 version 1.3 on windows 95, the same version is used for NT 3.51 (don't try it with NT 4.0). On the Mac side, I have Developer 2000 version 1.2. These two versions are about as compatible as it's ever likely to get. It tool quite a while for the Mac version to be available, however, so you will likely always have a delay waiting for new features to move to the Mac.
A couple of points that may make life a little easier. I have used the TOOLBAR (in the demos folder/directory) from both sides to give me fairly consistent looking screens. Be sure to create a resource fork on the Mac FMB file and copy the CISN icons from the toolbar.fmb using a program like Resedit, otherwise the icons will not appear. You can get away with just copying them to your start form (if all other forms are opened from the menu on that form). You may want to look at bug/pcr No's 361240, 353529, 352494, 354647 for more info on this topic.
Second, Microsoft has some fonts available for both the Mac and the PC (they were made available to make Internet Explorer consistent in both environments). I have downloaded these and it makes the port much easier if you stick to the common fonts. You can get them at http://www.microsoft.com/truetype/
A final point that you may already know, conversion is made easier by not including paths in attached libaries and converting via the .FMT format. (Make sure you set ORACLE_PATH and ORAPLSQLLOADPATH in the config.ora file on the Mac to the location(s) of libraries).
Good luck
