Needing a Scientifically-minded Full Stack Web Developer  

 Imaging and Arcade Projects

Data Science and Informatics department is looking for a highly skilled, scientifically-minded full stack web developer to join our team. In the DSI Scientific Computing & Engineering team, we build and deliver robust production software to process UAV imagery, model crop growth, and catalog and serve plant images and plant genetic data. In this role you will design and develop responsive web applications that support analytics pipelines that process images and other data for the seed R&D organization of Corteva Agrisciences. You will work as a member of a small software team that partners with researchers and data scientists in the IT department of Corteva R&D. You will use AWS cloud resources, on-premises computing infrastructure, and web technologies to develop and deploy clean user interfaces for interacting with software pipelines. On our team, collaboration is a must and occurs through daily scrums, ad-hoc pair programming, mentoring, and tight feedback cycles that include R&D partners.

Python and JavaScript experience required Passion for building clean and efficient user interfaces Experience with web frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) and client-side web development Proficient in applying software engineering practices: Git, unit testing, CI/CD Proficient in software development in a Linux environment Experience with RESTful web services
Comfortable working with open-source technologies Interest and competence in learning technology quickly Nice to have experience:

Relational DB, SQL, ORM
Docker and AWS
Gitlab CI
C++
API design
GIS, imaging processing, data science, scientific programming, machine learning
